Yes, like I said in my last post, Christmas stuff is still lying around outside my house. 

It's a result of pure laziness. Yes. Keepin' it real folks.

Anyways, about this outfit...

Looking through my closet, I wanted to try a combination

 that I never really tried before...because I thought it wouldn't work for me...and....

I've never thought to wear tights and shorts together....so I gave it a try.

Mixed feelings...

I kinda felt like an Avril Lavigne-groupie or something, hahaaaaa.

Eh, I just went with it.

Then I got to thinking...

I look just fine.

Just because I am a certain age, with a certain amount of children...

 ...and a certain type of life, it does not mean I shouldn't express my style or wear whatever 

the hell I feel like. This is pretty much the exact point I try to make 

everyday with my outfit posts...

Wear what you like, and make it look good. 

Whatever style you have, 

whatever style you feel like wearing on that day...

Rock it and own it. 

Although this look is a bit more "punk rock" than Gwen Stefani, 

it sorta reminded me of her style. 

Her casual style is what I like to call a bit of "cool mixed with funky".

I totally dig Gwen Stefani's style by the way. :) 

Maybe it would've been more Gwen Stefani-ish if I wore a fedora hat and huge sunglasses.
